'Speak Out Stay Safe'
Speakers from the NSPCC's 'Speak Out Stay Safe' programme came into school on Wednesday and delivered assemblies to all our KS1 and KS2 pupils about staying safe from all types of abuse. Their speech bubble mascot 'Buddy', helped the children to understand the 'rights of children' and encouraged children to speak out about any worries and problems they may have, to trusted adults. The presentation also included useful information about 'Childline'. Later this month the NSPCC's specially trained staff are returning to school to run workshops for years 5 and 6.
