Dinosaur week - the full picture!
Dinosaur week was an amazing week in school, full of fascinating learning experiences. Tuesday morning saw the pupils enter a scene of destruction left by the dinosaur. Having watched the video footage of the dinosaur, taken by Mr Bowker, the children were set the challenge of investigating how the dinosaur had invaded the school. Evidence of the dinosaur's presence was abundant in each classroom, from overturned desks, missing ceiling tiles to dinosaur footprints, claws and poo! This whole experience, alongside their evidence sheets provided a great stimulus to kick start a week full of fantastic pieces of writing, art and design technology work. A brilliant interactive dinosaur workshop took place on Friday, in which the children became young paleontologists. The week culminated with a surprise visit from two mischievous dinosaurs !!
