The children in KS1 had an exciting visit today from Barhale and Yorkshire water. Guest speakers spoke to the pupils about the water cycle and the importance of water, with the children sharing ideas of how water can be conserved. This was linked to discussions about safety around roadworks and water works in the local area. Each class learnt how diggers work and they were all treated by wearing their very own personalised 'hi-vis' jackets whilst sitting in a real life digger! Many thanks to the speakers for an informative afternoon.
