Cross Country Competitons

Over the last few days St. Paul's athletes have braved the elements, coming out in force to represent the school's cross country team. On Saturday morning, the U9's and U11's team raced in the LSAA cross country league at Prince Henrys Otley, where they battled hard to 'actually' keep running, the mud was so deep! Each runner showed pure grit and determination, achieving some super individual positions.  Furthermore the U9's boys team are presently ranked 4th in the league, with two races left. Yesterday afternoon, 31 of our Keystage 2 pupils ran in the Leeds North East SSP cross country festival at Cardinal Heenan High School. Once again all the runners performed well, with top ten places achieved by Rory Birkinshaw (3), Joe Jordan (6) and Rebecca Chalfont (7).  " Well done everyone" and many thanks to all who supported.
