Headteacher Welcome

‘St. Paul’s Catholic Primary School is an outstanding school in which pupils achieve exceptionally well.’ (OFSTED December 2006)

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our school through this website and I hope that you will find it both helpful and interesting.

It is impossible to describe everything about St. Paul’s Catholic Primary School here, and that is not our aim, but we hope that this site will give you an insight into the life of our special community and the ethos of our Catholic school.

St Paul’s is a one-form entry primary school for pupils aged 4 to 11 years. It is a wonderful family community, where our children are supported and encouraged by a team of committed staff, governors and parents. Each child's talents are nurtured and developed throughout their years with us, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Our high expectations and high standards are combined with a sense of creativity, excellence and enjoyment, firmly underpinned by our steadfast belief that the Gospel Values of Jesus Christ are at the centre of everything we do.

We are conscious of the necessity to provide our pupils with a broad, rich and engaging curriculum and constantly review and evaluate the achievements of our children and the school as a whole.

We are all proud of our school and our pupils enjoy their learning in a caring atmosphere where they feel safe, secure and valued.

We are committed to working closely with our families and the parish of St John Mary Vianney, not only to provide the very best for our children’s learning, but to also help our young people make sense of their faith and their relationships with God, with each other and with the wider community in which they live.
