This week in Year 5 we have been busy taking part in different activities for British Science Week. We began the week with cleaning up our beaches using an online project designed to battle against 'The Plastic Tide'. After that, things got a little messier....... we tried to make plastic using milk and vinegar (to varying degrees of success). We have kept the evidence in class!. Finally, we continued to look at changing materials, this time using milk with washing up liquid, and oil with water. The children have enjoyed observing the changes and trying to work out the science behind it all. Lots of other activities can be found on the British Science Week website or the National Science Museum website.
