Healthy Week

Year 1 have really been getting into the Healthy Week spirit, doing lots of fun activities!

 

Monday

We took part in the mile run - it was hard work but we all kept going to the end! We also went over to the church hall to do some circuit training with some of the trainers at Holt Park. Have a look at us in action!

Tuesday

Today we have been learning some street dancing moves with Miss Hayley from Elevation Dance. Then this afternoon we went up to David Lloyd and took part in some really good fun activities.

Wednesday

Today we had a go at riding our bikes around the playground, even though it was raining! Then we came back inside and did some nice, relaxing yoga.

Thursday

Today we did the Big Skip. It was hard to keep skipping for such a long time but we all did our best not to stop!

Friday

Today we took part in some football matches. The whole school was outside playing, and we competed in teams against the Year 2 children. Then in the afternoon we took part in the fun run with the rest of the school . It has been a really tiring week but we feel much fitter and healthier! Help us to keep it going by encouraging us to exercise regularly and eat 5 pieces of fruit/veg a day!!!
