Today Year 1 found out about animals that camouflage themselves. They looked at all sorts of incredible animals which are able to disguise themselves using their colour, shape and size. They then went on a butterfly hunt in the wildlife garden and found lots of really brightly coloured butterflies as well as lots of duller green and brown butterflies. Guess which ones were easier to find? When the children came back into the classroom, they had a go at finding new places where there butterflies could camouflage themselves. Can you spot any?
